Kinja'd!!!

So went in for four new tires on the Explorer today. Decided on the Cooper Discoverer ATPs mainly because I wanted an all terrain tire with decent snow traction and they had a 70 dollar mail in rebate when you buy 4.

So they say 45 minutes to an hour. They call me 45 minutes later saying it’s done. (I had walked down the street to the strip mall to kill time) I get back there and look at the tires and they say HTP on the side. So I’m pissed and I kinda felt bad for the guy I went off on cause I guess he just punched in for the evening when they told him to give me my keys back.

So then they have to remove the HTP tires and install the correct ATP tiresand they manged to do all 4 in 20 minutes and they refunded the installation charges cause of their fuck up.

Anyway here’s a picture of her as she sits

So far I like them. They are really quiet for being an all terrain tire.

good tire! Sucks you had to deal with that. I’ve had people blow up on me and all because of the bazillions parts I deal with (4 brands) I accidentaly typed 1 digit wrong causing headaches with parts and prices. Damn humans, maybe Alissa Walker is right

They always make things right. One time I ordered 4 $75 Falkens but they ran out of stock so they upgraded me to $140 Falken Wildpeaks.

They also let you negotiate.

Glad they made it right for you. Also, nice choice on the Coopers. I became friends with one of their regional sales reps about 2 years ago and when the Snuze needed new tires, he talked me into a set of CS5 Ultra Tourings. I’ve put about 7k on them so far and couldn’t be happier. My Cruze came with some BS T-rated, eco green low resistance all season whatevers on it, I think they were Bridgestones (whose tires I generally like). Anyways, I went to H rated CS5's and have more grip, better wet weather performance, better winter performance, and no loss in fuel economy.

Cooper makes a nice All Terrain tire.

WE’ve got the step more aggressive with the A/T3's on the Jeep Commander

When I got new tires, I dropped the car off, and an hour later I got a call telling me that the tires, that their website told me would fit on the car, wouldn’t fit on the car. I then had to wait another two hours and pay a $70 price difference to get a different set of tires that they had a correct size in put on.

Not going back to Sears Auto again.

Don't remember what I had originally picked out but I ended up with a set of BFG Advantage T/A. They're pretty unflappable in the wet though, so it's all good.

No attempt for the P-Zero Neros? :P (do they have z rated pirelli tires for SUVs?)

Lol nope. Only trucks tires pirelli makes are scorpions and I was looking for something a tad more aggressive haha
